Taking off the mask

I really love when people don’t hold back who they are, people that aren’t scared to care more, that show how excited they are about things, people that are open with how they feel. You see, our society teaches people that being hard, caring less, being closed, and playing games is valued. but It takes a lot of strength and courage to really be seen, to be vulnerable. There’s something to be said about vulnerability. Aren’t you closest to the people in your life you’ve been most vulnerable with? Aren’t those the strongest connections that tie us together? The ones that truly know you. If you care, let people know you care. Theres enough carelessness in the world. don’t add to it. strive to show up fully in each interaction, to create real authentic connections. To wear your heart on your sleeve and take off that mask that you forgot you were even wearing. That’s brave. Thats what I value. Let yourself be seen. Let yourself be you. .
